Relax and feel well. Our holiday home Astrid is idyllically situated on the edge of the forest. Fresh clean air, uninterrupted views to the mountains of the Schladminger Tauern and the Dachstein massif. The sunny terrace and endless meadows in front of the house create an unforgettable holiday experience.
The fully equipped apartment is at ground level, with its own entrance area. An open friendly kitchen with cozy dining area and tiled stove, provide a comfortable holiday atmosphere. There are 2 separate bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet. Bed linen and towels are available.
Hiking trails, running tracks and mountain bike trails in summer, winter hiking trails and the cross-country tracks in winter are in the immediate vicinity of your holiday home “Astrid”.

What a life for a dog!
Our location and our holiday apartment are ideal for a holiday with a dog. Own entrance to the holiday apartment, unlimited terrace/garden, forest directly behind the house, dog walks also directly from the house, e.g. along the Kulmbergrundweg.
The floors in the holiday apartment are made of terracotta/tiles in the living and dining areas. The bedrooms have a wooden parquet floor.

Summer
The possibilities to be active in the beautiful nature of Ramsau am Dachstein are almost limitless during summer holidays. A network of trails that runs over 3 altitudes: The sunny plateau at 1100 m for walking, hiking, horseback riding and running. The picturesque alpine pasture area at 1700 m is ideal for mountain bikers, mountaineers, sport climbers and long-distance hikers. At 2700 m, the high alpine region stretches with the Dachstein Glacier. In autumn, the international sports elite will be competing in biathlon and cross-country skiing on the glacier trails to prepare for the coming season.
Via ferratas of all levels of difficulty allow even non-alpinists to reach the summit via steep cliffs. One of the most beautiful climbing routes is probably “Der Johann”. A via ferrata under the spell of the Dachstein south face.
Winter
Winter is the romantic time of the year. Due to the altitude you will find snow-covered landscapes with glittering snowfields and fresh air. On clear winter nights the starry sky opens up.
In 1999 the Nordic Ski World Championships took place in Ramsau am Dachstein. As a venue for this, you will still find today a perfect infrastructure for cross-country skiing, winter riding, sleigh rides and winter hiking. Up to 220 km of trails and around 50 km of winter hiking trails offer everything for being active in the fresh air. Many huts and farmhouses along the way serve delicious local specialties.
Ramsau am Dachstein belongs to the skiarea “amade”. 760 kilometers of slopes with just one ski pass. The ski resort in Ramsau itself is the ideal family and sunshine ski area with 25 km of slopes.
Off the slopes and trails, skimo’s and snowshoers experience the nature and tranquility of Ramsau am Dachstein.
